Are you closets filled with used cleats, uniforms, shinguards, and soccer
balls? Instead of throwing them away, donate them to individuals who
need them.
The “Share Cause You Care” program, is initiated by coaches of the Miami
Lakes Soccer Club to help meet the soccer uniform and equipment needs
of communities in disadvantaged areas in Central America. Whether is a
small school in Honduras or an after school program in Guatemala, or El
Salvador, help us reach our ultimate goal of helping others to grow the
sport we love.
We will accept only soccer equipment. We will be taking equipment that is
in decent condition, as there are safety issues with gear that is in
exceptionally bad shape. Please use your best judgment when
determining what is in “decent condition”.
All equipment will be collected by the U10 Coach Billy Rivera and U11
We will soon have a collection bin at the park
starting next week, and we will be collecting year round until our season is
over at the end of May 2010.
Thank you for all your efforts and remember do the right thing and “Share
Cause You Care”
Billy Rivera
